Who We Are
Beat the Streets Cleveland’s mission is to positively alter life’s trajectory for K-12 student-athletes in the City of Cleveland by giving them access to youth development, mentoring, and wrestling.
Programs
How We Work
Health and Wellness
Our programs develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors to nurture their well-being, set personal goals and grow into self-sufficient adults.
Social and Emotional Impact
Students develop a goal oriented mindset through our on the mat trainings. Our programs couple that with off the mat resources to develop our students full academic potential.
Physical Literacy
Our students will demonstrate the knowledge and skills to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical activity and fitness, as well as recognizes the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression and/or social interaction.
Purpose
Striving For Greatness
To promote and introduce wrestling, mentorship, and educational opportunities to young men and women in the city of Cleveland and surrounding areas in Ohio. To provide experience and education to underprivileged youth including introducing them to high level wrestling programming, coaching, clinicians, tutoring, health education, travel, and mentorship. To help the wrestling programs in the Cleveland Municipal School District and Charter School Program to reach their full potential. To advance athletic and academic opportunities to all.
